In Tod Bolsinger's book, Canoeing the Mountains, he says that relational congruence is one of three keys to leadership.

1. Predictable. Same person in every situation.
2. Transparent. Your expressed interest is your true interest. 
3. Approachable. Open to disagreement. Not defensive.
